Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Requirements

2-5 years of quality engineering experience preferred in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or higher quality standards.
Experience with APQP processes including FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and PPAP.
Knowledge of statistical inspection methods and quality systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and documentation.
IPC-A-610/620 Certified Expert Trainer preferred.

Job Duties

Support corrective and preventive action processes, including CARs, SCARs, RMAs, and 8D investigations.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Inspection teams to improve product quality and process performance.
Define and support incoming, in-process, and final inspection requirements.
Analyze production processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
Establish and monitor quality metrics and statistical process controls.
Assist with supplier qualification, evaluations, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Coordinate APQP activities with suppliers and customers.
Support employee training programs related to quality systems and standards.
Maintain compliance with ISO standards and support third-party audits.
Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with applicable industry and regulatory requirements.
Train inspectors and team members on IPC acceptability standards.
Serve as a quality liaison for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Travel to supplier and customer locations as needed.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform audits and inspections on production floors and supplier sites.
Occasional travel required to customer and supplier locations.
Ability to review technical documentation and analyze detailed quality data.
