Assistant Property Manager

At POAH Communities, a dedicated subsidiary of Preservation of Affordable Housing, we are committed to managing affordable housing with a focus on maintaining a supportive community environment. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in assisting the Property Manager in the overall operational and financial success of our multi-family residences.

The Assistant Property Manager will be involved in all aspects of day-to-day operations, from tenant relations to maintenance oversight and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in overseeing residential property operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, and manage lease renewals.
• Ensure all properties comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Handle tenant communications and address their complaints and queries promptly.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting.
• Inspect properties regularly to maintain high living standards.
• Liaise with contractors and supervise maintenance activities.
