Postdoctoral Researcher: Single-Cell Epigenomics, Chromatin Profiling & Stem Cell Technologies

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments involving single-cell sequencing modalities (scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq, CUT&Tag, CUT&Run, single-cell methylome profiling).
• Apply state-of-the-art epigenomic assays (ATAC-seq, CUT&Tag, CUT&Run, NEBNext enzymatic Methyl-seq) to analyze DNA methylation, chromatin marks, transcription factor binding, and chromatin accessibility.
• Work with human embryonic stem cell (hESC)-based systems, including naïve-to-primed transitions and directed differentiation into relevant lineages.
• Integrate multi-omics datasets to investigate functional consequences of epigenetic variants.
• Collaboratively supervise students and support method development within the research team.
• Communicate findings through presentations and manuscript preparation.

• PhD in molecular biology, epigenetics, stem cell biology, genetics, biotechnology, or related discipline.
• Experience with human cell culture (preferably stem cells).
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
• Optional but highly desirable: familiarity with post-culture epigenomic methodologies, such as:

• single-cell sequencing (scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq),
• CUT&Tag,
• ATAC-seq,
• single-cell methylome profiling or WGBS-based methods.
