We are hiring for a Research Associate to support a large research hospital here in the Columbus, Ohio area! This is a long-term career opportunity for someone looking to grow in the field.
Ideal candidates will have at least a Bachelors Degree in a scientific field and experience working in a BSL-2 or similarly regulated laboratory.
Job DescriptionThe Research Associate II involves routine PBMC processing, cryopreservation, T cell ELISPOT analysis, multiplexing, and immunophenotyping. This department offers centralized services for rAAV research and Phase I Trials, among other projects, adhering to academic research standards.
Responsibilities- Collaborate on scheduling and project timelines/capabilities.
- Support GMP resources and supply chain, including materials inventory control to meet production goals.
- Operate and perform calibration, validation, cleaning, and maintenance of facility equipment and systems as specified in SOPs.
- Conduct testing and equipment operation, including PCR, Flow cytometry, aseptic technique, uv-vis, pipetting, sorters, elispot, elisa, dilutions, peptides, and cell staining.
- Execute daily operational activities related to biological products, ensuring materials availability and proper GLP documentation.
- Assist in process documentation review, revision, remediation, and process change controls.
- Handle specimens including blood, urine, tissue, and fecal materials.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific field.
- Must have prior experience in a BSL-2 or similarly regulated laboratory and strong biological lab experience.
This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
