Suspension Scientist

We are hiring for a Scientist I in the Gene Therapy field here in the Columbus, Ohio area! This is a long-term career opportunity and we are looking for somebody with experience in a GMP or GLP regulated setting. This role will primarily be performing cell based lab work.

Assist in the GMP manufacturing of cell and gene therapy products, primarily handling cell culture duties in a cleanroom to support product manufacturing.

• Perform cell culturing to help manufacture Gene Therapy products in a cleanroom or laboratory environment.
• Assist in manufacturing Gene Therapy products using suspension and large-scale mammalian cell culture processes.
• Maintain inventory for the lab.
• Complete documentation per regulations and guidelines.
• Work with the quality team to address deviations or investigations as needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field.
• Experience in a GMP or similarly regulated environment.
• Strong mammalian cell culture experience is a plus, though not required if other experience compensates.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
