Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg is looking for two postdoctoral researchers in tafsīr and Islamic manuscripts for a six-year project starting 1 January 2027. Candidates should have a PhD and language proficiency in Arabic as well as another relevant language, along with research experience.
Responsibilities include working on Qur’anic dynamics and contributing to research publications. Interested applicants should submit their CV and cover letter to Professor Dr. Johanna Pink by 31 July 2026. The salary will be in accordance with TV-L E13.
