The University of Toledo is looking for a Senior Research Associate. Under general supervision, and within established policies and procedures, serves as an independent researcher or collaborator on a multi‑scholar research initiative. May have lead responsibilities for components of a larger project under the general supervision of a Principal Investigator.

• Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant discipline) or Master's (or equivalent) degree, plus relevant experience. In rare instance, a Bachelor's (or equivalent) plus additional experience will be considered.
• Master's plus at least five (5) years of relevant post‑master's professional work experience, Bachelor's plus at least eight (8) years of exceptional relevant professional experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated abilities in laboratory techniques required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience with mentoring students required.

• Strong organizational skills
