Location: Granville

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is in Granville, OH 43023. Details of the position are as follows:

Position Overview:
Join an industrial research laboratory supporting manufacturing operations, product development, and innovation for glass, composites, and insulation materials. This hands-on role involves preparing and testing raw materials, operating laboratory equipment, and supporting R&D projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Please note:

This is not a biological, medical, or clean room laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare raw material and glass samples for testing.

· Perform physical property testing on glass and raw materials.

· Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

· Support glass melting and testing in a high-temperature environment.

· Perform cutting, grinding, and preparation of refractory brick samples.

· Document test results and maintain laboratory records.

· Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and cross-functional teams.

· Follow all laboratory safety procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred)

· Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Comfortable working around high-temperature materials and industrial equipment

Preferred Qualifications

· Industrial laboratory, manufacturing, or R&D experience

· Experience with raw material splitting and grinding

· Experience with particle size sieving

· Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field
