- We are seeking a Battery Research Engineer to join our advanced research team focused on next-generation battery technologies.
- This role involves researching and developing innovative battery materials, cell designs, and manufacturing processes while supporting product innovation through scientific experimentation and data-driven analysis.

- Conduct research on advanced battery materials, cell technologies, and manufacturing processes.
- Design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and evaluate new technologies.
- Research battery material characterization, cathode and anode chemistries, and battery performance.
- Support development of next-generation battery cells, including cell design, qualification, and manufacturing.
- Investigate battery recycling technologies, rare earth materials, and resource circularity initiatives.
- Analyze experimental data and present findings to technical teams and leadership.
- Lead and manage research activities, project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to manage research initiatives and technology development.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and research organizations to advance innovation.
- Stay current with emerging battery technologies, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
- Masters degree or Ph.D. preferred.
- 2+ years of research or engineering experience in battery technology, materials science, or related fields.
- Experience designing experiments and analyzing technical data.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and scientific research practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
