Job Title: Laboratory Technician – R&D Prototype Testing
Location: Granville, OH - Onsite
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
Duration: 1 Year
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support an R&D Technology Development project involving technical insulation materials. This role is responsible for preparing and testing raw materials and prototype samples, supporting test method development, operating prototype equipment, documenting laboratory results, and assisting with laboratory safety documentation. The position also includes prototype equipment support, laboratory organization, and adherence to established safety procedures.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an onsite panel interview.
Associate's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
High school diploma with relevant laboratory or prototype equipment experience will also be considered.
Laboratory sample preparation and material testing.
Experience with prototype equipment and scientific laboratory equipment.
Laboratory testing and test method execution.
Prototype equipment operation and support.
Laboratory safety documentation (SOPs, JHAs).
Experience in an R&D laboratory environment.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Basic statistical analysis.
Test method development.
Experience supporting prototype builds or development trials.
Technical insulation or materials testing experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
