Training kitchen specialist; m​/f​/d

The activities of a specialist in the kitchen (m/f/d) are based on the tasks of a cook. Trained kitchen staff have mastered all the important basics of cooking. In the kitchen, they are more likely to carry out practical work themselves than delegate tasks to others. As a rule, we work in teams. We are therefore looking for people who like to get stuck in, are team players and have a passion for food.

Training as a kitchen specialist (m/f/d) is relatively new and is strongly oriented towards training as a chef (m/f/d ). In contrast to the three-year chef apprenticeship, the apprenticeship to become a kitchen specialist only lasts two years. This means you have a full vocational qualification more quickly, but take on less responsibility in the company.

In terms of content, the only difference between the two apprenticeships is that trainee chefs deepen their knowledge and acquire additional expertise.
