SummaryWe are seeking a Cook to join our culinary team at Beckett House Healthcare & Rehabilitation. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience within our communities.
This position has a starting pay rate of $15.00 an hour
The typical schedule for this opportunity is Five(5) 8-hour shifts a week 5a to 1:30p. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.

- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
- Assist in menu planning to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with culinary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs.
- Proven experience as a Cook in a healthcare or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to prepare meals that accommodate various dietary restrictions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
