Location: Walnut Creek

Mancan is working with a restaurant in Walnut Creek seeking a bakery prep worker. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Standard hours are 6am-1:30pm. May include some rotating evenings, Saturdays, and holidays. The restaurant is closed on Sundays. Pay is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Baking and preparing ingredients to bake following recipes
• Use electric mixers and other kitchen equipment
• Check baked goods for quality
• Check production schedule to determine what and how much of each item to bake
• Restock ingredients
• Clean shelves, bins, tables and coolers

Qualifications:

• Prior experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to read and understand recipes
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
• Serv Safe certification preferred, but training will be provided if necessary
