Overview
General Managers lead the day‑to‑day operations of a Domino’s Pizza store, ensuring profitability, exceptional customer service, quality food, and a safe and clean working environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee staff scheduling, performance, and motivation, managing 3–30 employees per shift.
- Control costs, inventory, and cash, ensuring accurate handling of all financial transactions.
- Maintain store operations, including opening, closing, staffing, and compliance with company standards.
- Greet customers and take orders accurately, including handling phone calls with professionalism.
- Operate the cash register, collect payment and make correct monetary change.
- Create pizza products following portion sizes, recipes, and baking procedures.
- Deliver products to customers safely and courteously using company vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the store, from front‑door to back‑room.
- Ensure employee appearance meets Domino’s Grooming Standards.
- Experience leading a team, managing staff effectively during shifts.
- Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license; ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
- Strong motivation, emotional intelligence, and exemplary customer-service orientation.
- Availability to work whenever the team needs coverage, including weekends and holidays; flexible schedule.
- Minimum age 18.
- Accurate basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to make correct change.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication, including telephone order processing.
- Manual dexterity: coordination of eyes, hands, fingers for fast, precise movements.
- Computer skills: ability to type orders on keyboard or touch screen.
- Varying indoor temperatures from 36°F to above 90°F; occasional exposure to hot surfaces or fumes.
- Adverse weather conditions when handling outside tasks such as trash removal.
- Potential exposure to cornmeal dust and other food odors.
- Good hearing for telephone use; near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate hot vs cold surfaces.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, manage stress, meet quality standards, analyze data, and make judgments.
- Standing and walking on tile or linoleum for most tasks; occasional short distances.
- Manual handling of up to 50 lbs for deliveries; handling cases and ingredients; lifting, carrying, and moving equipment.
