Job Summary
The Inventory Lead supports the Inventory Manager/Supervisor and dispensary staff by maintaining accurate inventory control measures. The role provides leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive, upbeat, and respectful environment. The Inventory Lead regularly reconciles physical quantities with system counts and implements best inventory control practices to ensure accuracy and alignment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Support retail operations by delivering consistent customer experiences and driving inventory accuracy through management of stock levels, variances, storage, menu updates, and consumption.
- Perform inventory counts, weekly audits, and necessary adjustments to support the retail business.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all inventory is properly put away, secured, and the area is cleaned.
- Participate in the flow of physical stock for order processing.
- Report any irregularities to the Inventory Supervisor/Manager.
- Complete checks to ensure all menus, digital and physical, are up to date and accurate.
- Provide regular reporting as required by internal operations and state regulations.
- Ensure products are stocked on the sales floor and ready for purchase.
- Communicate variance issues or missing information that would affect inventory orders to the Inventory Supervisor/Manager.
- Hold the team to a high standard and maintain fluid, consistent communication with both praise and feedback.
- Take pride in the store’s appearance by ensuring all areas, including restrooms, are consistently clean, safe, and guest-ready.
- Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.
- Must meet the age requirement outlined by state cannabis agency.
- Able to pass all background checks required by state cannabis agency.
- Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
High school diploma/GED required.
Experience1-3 years of experience in inventory, logistics, and/or a cannabis retail setting.

Working Conditions- Work is primarily performed in a dispensary setting with occasional odor and loud fan/filtration systems, fluctuating temperatures.
- Involves frequent contact with staff, vendors, customers, law enforcement, and state inspectors.
- Able to use a computer for extended periods, operating POS systems and standard office equipment.
- Able to move about a typical office and retail environment.
- Constantly moves and transports dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs throughout the dispensary.
- Can twist, turn, bend, stand, and walk as required to perform duties as a dispensary agent.
