The main priority of Deli / Bakery associates is to prepare quality products for customers. They engage with customers at the service counter and move incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor. Cleaning and maintaining proper food safety standards are critical to the team's success.

As part of Walmart America's leading grocery store, you will help customers make important decisions about the quality of fruit and vegetables they consume. You will perform responsibilities in the deli, bakery, or dry grocery department, ensuring customers find the items they need.

• Work in the deli and provide front‑line customer service, greeting customers with a smile.
• Help customers celebrate special moments in the bakery by assisting with cake orders and decorations.
• Support customers in the dry grocery department, ensuring shelves are stocked and items are easy to find.
• Detail clean shelves and department areas, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lower quality food products.

• Assist customers in locating products.
• Ensure high‑quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
• Create a clean, sanitized, customer‑ready environment.
