Job Description

Entry level sales and delivery positions supporting the DIY business and commercial parts delivery. Positions can be part‑time or full‑time and require fleet safety certification.

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Deliver DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put‑away, cycle counts, back stock, and truck staging.

• Ensure store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
• Perform general stocking (truck stocking and back stock).
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Ability to use delivery board system.
• Friendly and effective communication.
• Ability to locate and stock parts.
• Safety knowledge and skills.
• Operating inventory systems and store equipment.
• Parts and automotive system knowledge.
• Operating POS and parts lookup systems.
• Expertise in testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service.

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and build strong customer relationships.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately (add, subtract, multiply, divide across units).
• Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

• 2–3 years of successful retail sales experience providing superior customer experiences.

• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyer.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.

• Ensure store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
• Perform general stocking (truck stocking and back stock).

• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Ability to use delivery board system.

• Ability to locate and stock parts.
• Safety knowledge and skills.

• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management.

• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Certificates, licenses, registrations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and fleet safety certification.

Walking or standing predominately. Hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Inside most of the time; occasionally outside and exposed to weather conditions while installing batteries and wiper blades. Exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; electrical shock; vibration; moderate noise level.

USD 11.80 per hour – USD 12.54 per hour.
