At Hartville Hardware, our Warehouse Receiver keeps freight moving and shelves stocked. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for successful freight and merchandise fulfillment, processing paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments and physically moving stock as it is delivered. You will also schedule shipments when needed and check the quality and accuracy of orders, making sure our customers find the products they need when they need them.

• Process paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments
• Physically move and restock merchandise as freight is delivered
• Schedule shipments as needed
• Check the quality and accuracy of orders
• Drive an order picker and forklift, and restack pallets
• Perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activity necessary to the role
• Lift up to 80 pounds as needed
• Work a scheduled 40 hours per week; additional hours may be required based on the needs of the store

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
• 1 year of experience processing and filing merchandise receiving paperwork preferred
• 1 year of experience with store inventory receiving and administration preferred
• 6 months of experience in warehouse data entry or bookkeeping preferred
