Sales Representative; m​/w​/d Gasgrids & Pipelines

We are looking for you to join our sales team in the Gas Grids & Pipelines division of the Grid & Energy Management business unit.

• Planning, coordination, and management of all sales activities in your assigned regions and with your customers
• Active sales of our software solutions in the field of network management and energy management to operators of gas networks, pipelines, and storage facilities
• Developing sales strategies for the Grid & Energy Management portfolio in close cooperation with other PSI units
• Identifying and acquiring new customers in energy supply, energy trading, and industry—both nationally and internationally
• Maintaining and strategically expanding existing customer relationships
• Conducting presentations, negotiating offers, and supporting contract conclusions
• Managing the quotation process – fully understanding customer requirements, developing suitable quotations with our service team, coordinating all stakeholders involved
• Working closely with product management and development to design customer-oriented solutions
• Building and maintaining your sales pipeline, efficient use of CRM tools, and creation of reliable forecasts
• Supporting lead generation and identifying new business opportunities
• Participating in trade fairs, industry events, and customer presentations
• Visiting customers on site in Germany and abroad
• Developing creative approaches for value selling and convincing positioning of our solutions on the market

• Degree in energy technology, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
• Proven experience in B2B sales of complex software solutions, ideally in the energy sector
• In-depth understanding of the challenges and technologies in the field of energy distribution and transport—in particular SCADA, IT/OT integration, IoT digitization, and cybersecurity
• Ideally, experience in the KRITIS environment and contacts in the gas, oil, and pipeline sectors
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, even when dealing with complex technical issues with operations, development, and management teams
• Structured approach to work, high level of initiative, and sense of responsibility
• Enjoy working with customers and quickly grasping complex requirements
• Genuine team player who understands success as a joint achievement
• Very good German and English skills
• Willingness to travel
• An existing network in the gas, oil & pipelines sector (national and international) is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of business management contexts
