Sales Development Rep/SDR
Midwest Retail Services is hiring an Account Services Representative (ASR) to support our Sales and Account Management teams and deliver a high‑touch customer experience. This role is a key connection point between customers and operations—owning details, driving follow‑through, and ensuring accuracy from quote to fulfillment.
The ASR works with national retailers, independent stores, and distribution partners, helping customers navigate complex retail fixture and gondola shelving solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
- Develop expertise in gondola shelving systems, accessories, and configurations
- Create accurate sales quotes, including product selection, pricing, freight, and lead times
- Process and track orders through fulfillment, proactively communicating updates or issues
- Partner with Account Managers on national retail programs and large‑scale initiatives
- Support customers with floor plans, product recommendations, and system compatibility
- Manage inbound phone, email, and CRM communications with thorough documentation
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Purchasing to ensure seamless execution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of quoting, systems, and customer experience
- 2–5 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, account support, or project coordination (B2B preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred
- Clear, confident communicator who can simplify technical details
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Resourceful problem‑solver who thrives in a fast‑paced, team environment
