Account Manager (f/m/d) is responsible for generating revenue and market share for Leica Biosystems products and services from customers in parts of Lower Saxony and North Rhine Westphalia.

You will actively manage existing Leica Biosystems accounts in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and maximize sales potential across the targeted portfolio.

• Own and achieve the order and sales targets in designated sales territory and accounts
• Promote the full LBS product and services portfolio through customer visit & relationship building
• Develop account-based sales plans and strategies to increase market penetration within the territory, based on a deep understanding of customer and end user needs.
• Proactively manage existing sales pipelines through to a successful close
• Provide timely and accurate forecast for orders and sales and contribute to daily management as required

• Relevant and demonstrable sales/account management experience in a Clinical and/or Life Science/Diagnostic environment , Pathology laboratory is preferred
• Proven record of successful selling of similar products through excellent closing skills
• Ability to drive business success through managing customer needs, demonstrating consistent and impressive drive to bring change in support of growth over a period of time.
• Ability to evaluate customer needs and selectively ‘sell’ solutions
• Fluent German is mandatory as well as an excellent level in English
