Appointment Acquisition Specialist – Wilcor Dist. Co. Inc.
Wilcor Dist. Co. Inc. has a full‑time on‑site job opening for Appointment Acquisition Professionals. This pivotal role is designed for individuals eager to contribute to the growth and effectiveness of our sales operations.
Responsibilities- Identify and research potential leads to increase the number of quality appointments for the sales team.
- Reach out to prospective clients via telephone, emails, and canvassing to set up appointments.
- Maintain a detailed and organized log of all contacts made, including the responses and follow‑up required.
- Assist in the optimization of the sales team’s travel and meeting schedules to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand their needs and preferences concerning the scheduling of meetings and routes.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on appointment setting activities to management on a weekly basis.
- Ensure all communications with potential clients are conducted in a professional manner, reflecting company values and service standards.
- Adjust strategies for appointment acquisition as needed based on team feedback and performance metrics.
- Attend regular team meetings to stay updated on product developments and upcoming company initiatives that impact client interactions.
- Educate yourself on industry trends and company products to ensure informed discussions with potential clients.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in appointment setting, sales, or a related field is preferential but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Capability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
- Demonstrable ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive learner willing to absorb new techniques and methods.
- Adept at persuasive communication and capable of handling objections gracefully.
