Internal Sales Account Executive — German Speaking
The Internal Sales Account Executive — German Speaking is responsible for supporting commercial activity within the German-speaking market, with a strong focus on existing customers, inbound enquiries, quotations, renewals, upgrades, cross-sell opportunities, and day-to-day sales administration. This is an internal sales role, working closely with Account Managers, Customer Success, Support, Finance, and Sales Operations to ensure customers receive timely, accurate, and professional commercial support.
The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple requests at the same time. The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking with customers, understanding their needs, preparing commercial information, following up on opportunities, and ensuring accurate CRM and order data. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a structured commercial environment, works well with internal teams, and can help customers progress smoothly through renewals, upgrades, product enquiries, and commercial requests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to inbound customer enquiries from the German-speaking market.
- Support existing customers with commercial questions, product information, quotations, renewals, upgrades, and additional licence requests.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, renewal offers, and commercial documentation.
- Identify opportunities for customer retention, product upgrades, add-ons, and cross-sell based on customer needs.
- Work closely with Account Managers and Sales Management to support account plans and customer follow-up.
- Coordinate with Customer Success, Support, Finance, and Operations to resolve customer requests and ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Maintain accurate customer, account, contact, opportunity, and activity data in the CRM.
- Track renewal dates, quote status, customer follow-ups, and outstanding commercial actions.
- Assist with sales reporting, pipeline updates, forecast input, and administrative sales processes.
- Ensure customers receive timely and accurate responses to commercial requests.
- Support customer onboarding or handover processes where commercial input is required.
- Help maintain strong customer relationships through professional, consistent, and proactive communication.
- Contribute to customer retention and revenue growth within the assigned market.
- Build good knowledge of Cyncly's solutions, customer segments, pricing structure, and internal processes.
Required
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in internal sales, inside sales support, account support, sales administration, customer success, renewals, or commercial customer service.
- Experience working with existing customers in a B2B environment.
- Ability to manage quotations, follow-ups, renewals, customer enquiries, and commercial requests accurately.
- Strong customer communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good commercial awareness and ability to identify customer needs and potential upsell or upgrade opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, tasks, deadlines, and internal requests.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when working with CRM data, quotes, contracts, pricing, and customer records.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales processes.
- Ability to work effectively with internal teams including Sales, Customer Success, Support, Finance, and Operations.
- Proactive, reliable, and service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to follow processes while also taking ownership of customer requests.
- Fluency in German is required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Any additional European language is a plus.
