We are hiring for a Scientist I in the Gene Therapy field here in the Columbus, Ohio area! This is a long‑term career opportunity and we are looking for somebody with experience in a GMP or GLP regulated setting. This role will primarily be performing cell based lab work.
Shift1st shift, 4 day, 10 hour shifts with some overtime as needed. Main working days:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
The Scientist I will assist in the GMP manufacturing of cell and gene therapy products. This role primarily handles cell culture duties in a cleanroom, supporting the manufacturing process and ensuring compliance. The position is part of a collaborative, fast‑growing cell and gene therapy environment. The Scientist I leads daily production processes, documents rigorously, supports quality and continuous improvement, provides technical leadership to junior staff, works with minimal direct supervision, and contributes to strategic direction.
Responsibilities- Perform cell culturing to help manufacture gene therapy products in a cleanroom/lab environment.
- Assist in manufacturing using suspension and large‑scale mammalian cell culture processes.
- Maintain lab inventory.
- Perform documentation per regulations and guidelines.
- Work with the quality team to address deviations or investigations as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field.
- Experience in a GMP or similarly regulated environment.
- Strong mammalian cell culture experience is a plus.
Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay And BenefitsPay range: $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
