PositionSecurity Officer - Reception Desk in Valley City, OH. You will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Operate the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, issuing and collecting visitor badges, and supporting sign-in and sign-out processes per site requirements.
- Monitor access control systems, cameras, and intrusion/fire panels; report irregular activity and maintenance issues through established procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, including dispatching assistance, completing incident reports, and following escalation protocols.
- Coordinate with on-site teams and Allied Universal leadership to communicate access updates, deliveries, appointment arrivals, and other security-related information to support daily operations.
- This is primarily a driving post.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation as a condition of employment in accordance with laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
