As a Security Officer - Construction Patrol in Fairlawn, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to requests from staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a healthcare location by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, provide directions to patients, visitors, and staff, and report unauthorized access attempts per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and complete required logs and reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
