Asset Protection Representative

Location & Overview

We are located at 15A Bathurst St Unit 3, Toronto, ON M5V 0R9 and are seeking an Asset Protection Representative (formerly Loss Prevention). This role is part of one of Canada’s largest Asset Protection teams, helping keep stores safe and secure for customers.

• Deter, detect, and apprehend theft and fraud within our retail locations.
• Investigate provincial or national ORC cases in collaboration with other APRs.
• Maintain regular contact with local police services.
• Conduct internal investigations, compile evidence, and present it for court or arbitration.
• Identify potential shrink opportunities within operational compliance.
• Build and maintain store partnerships via management meetings and huddles; coach and mentor colleagues on Asset Protection policies.
• Participate in store‐level audits.
• Participate in community events.
• Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends (40‑hour week).

• Valid Provincial Security Guard License required.
• Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, Powers of Arrest, CCTV/surveillance systems, and proficiency with Windows applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
• High initiative and integrity to succeed in a dynamic environment.
