Flex Security Officers - On-Call

Job Overview

Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers in the Amelia, OH area. Pay is $18.03 per hour, paid weekly. Positions start immediately.

• Read and become knowledgeable of Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Act quickly and efficiently according to SOP directives.
• Perform duties at various posts and facilities based on operational need.
• Cover scheduled shifts, including short‑notice coverage due to illness, call‑offs, or weather.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and report writing skills.

• Previous security, law enforcement, and/or military experience preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in a customer service role.
• Excellent customer service and exceptional report writing skills.
• Must be able to work various shifts, days, weekends, holidays, and be flexible and team‑oriented.
• Must be reliable and able to work at least 80% of short‑notice shifts.

As a Flex Officer you are trained at multiple posts and locations. Your schedule will vary based on operational need. You will be assigned or offered shifts as they become available. You are expected to work any advance‑scheduled shift that falls within your availability. Short‑notice shifts: please cover at least 80% of any shift called.
