Data Center Security Manager

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is expanding its Infrastructure Operations team and is looking for a Data Center Security Manager (DSM) to help manage and improve site security operations in our data centers. The DSM will ensure consistent deployment of all required security policies and procedures, participate in recurring site audits, and test new security technologies.

• Oversee physical security operations, develop post orders, and define security procedures.
• Handle site incidents, coordinate security equipment, and participate in construction projects.
• Conduct day‑to‑day process improvement activities and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure consistent deployment of security policies and participate in recurring audits and reviews.
• Test new security technologies and maintain operational readiness of access control, cameras, and alarm systems.
• Manage security-related tickets, including badge access requests and vendor escort coordination.
• Oversee security guard force operations, verify SLA compliance, and conduct random post inspections.
• Review security metrics, discuss process improvements, and coordinate upcoming projects.
• Maintain communication with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.

• 2+ years of experience overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• 6+ months of experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment.

• 2+ years of law enforcement experience or 8+ years of security-related professional experience.
• 1+ year of team leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of law enforcement or security-related experience.

Location:

Jeffersonville, OH – $28.00–$50.00 USD hourly
