Credence has an immediate need for a Program Protection Lead who will be primarily responsible for supporting the F‑35 Joint Program Office at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.
The F‑35 Joint Program Office (JPO) is responsible for the life‑cycle program management of the F‑35 Lightning II, which includes the F‑35A, F‑35B, and F‑35C variants. It oversees the development, delivery, and sustainment of this fifth‑generation joint strike fighter for the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and international partners. The JPO also collaborates with various partners to drive innovation and cost efficiency in enhancing the F‑35's capabilities.
Responsibilities- Support the implementation of information, personnel, and industrial security programs to ensure classified material is protected according to DoD, USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC, directorate, division, and program directives.
- Ensure implementation of the resource protection, force protection, and anti‑terrorism programs IAW DoD, USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC, directorate, division, and program security policy/instructions.
- Assist by providing directorate security operations support.
- Assist by preparing and coordinating security‑related briefing materials and provide technical assistance for briefings, meetings, and conferences.
- Provide a wide range of security management, analytical, technical and support services for programs managed by DoD, USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC, AFLCMC/WAU Directorate and specific programs.
- Record and track security program action items and suspend actions; manage newcomer and security‑related databases including visitor control functions.
- Maintain active JPAS and JADE accounts and verify personnel security clearances and SAP accesses.
- Process personnel security investigation documents, review for accuracy, and track clearance requests.
- Advisory assistance for evaluating security and administrative procedures associated with handling CPI/CC from unclassified material up to TS, special access, and SCI.
- Document program security methods and decisions with strong analytical writing skills.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures IAW DoD Manual 5205.07 and maintain security process flowcharts and work breakout structures.
- Manage and perform the administrative duties of SAP Facilities IAW the DoD Manual 5205.07, including submitting PARs, maintaining accreditation, and managing self‑inspection programs.
- Work in secure facilities and receive classified information as required.
- Open, close, and perform end‑of‑day security checks of government facilities IAW USAF requirements; respond to after‑hours alarms.
- Prepare and administer educational material relative to the Security program and plan, manage, and administer the security education program.
- Assist with the coordination of DD Form 254 and develop recommended security requirements for SOOs, SOWs, PWS, RFPs, and CDRLs.
- Serve as a security advisor to the SSWG or other security‑related IPTs; prepare meeting minutes and document actions.
- Develop and maintain time‑phased, event‑driven SCGs, PSDs, TA/CPs, and PPPs with annexes.
- Identify CPI and conduct criticality analysis; assess program threats, analyze system vulnerabilities, and recommend cost‑effective security countermeasures.
- Conduct vulnerability analyses to define security functional requirements for protecting systems against covert ground‑initiated attacks; recommend integration of physical security countermeasures and detection devices.
