AWS Infrastructure Physical Security team is seeking a highly motivated Physical Security System Project Manager to lead physical security projects across data centers.

• Manage the installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components.
• Design physical security systems for new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Prepare security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specification documents for projects; review and assure the quality of vendor quotes.
• Project manage multiple concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for physical security system testing and acceptance, ensuring operational readiness at project completion.
• Prepare and archive project close‑out documentation.
• Report vendor performance metrics regarding system installation, service delivery, and equipment availability/reliability.
• Travel up to 25% of the time within the United States.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of security operations experience in data center, logistics, manufacturing, retail, or similar industries, including access control systems, CCTV, and defense‑in‑depth strategies.
• At least 2 years of experience in physical security project management.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• U.S. citizenship or equivalent status required for Gov Cloud region.

• Experience in design, implementation, support, and evaluation of security‑focused tools and services.
• Experience with physical security design and implementation of access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems.
• PSP, CPP, PMP or equivalent certification.
• Ability to manage multiple medium and large‑scale projects, develop schedules, and adhere to established timetables.

This role interprets threat assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards, collaborates with AWS architectural and engineering teams, and provides technical knowledge and resources to local security teams to meet the physical security mission.

Salary: 80 000–140 000 USD annually.
