Security Officer Mobile Perimeter Patrol –
Ashville, OH – Part‑Time. As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, build a schedule that works for you, and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Your experience supports routine patrols, visible presence, and prompt response to security‑related concerns. Deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and help deter incidents while embodying agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points, with working conditions that may vary by site.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, observe unusual activity, and report security‑related issues according to post instructions.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and/or first responders while following post orders and assisting with routine security‑related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
