Nuclear Security Officer

Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated and diligent Nuclear Security Officer to join our security team within the energy sector. This role is pivotal in maintaining the safety and security of nuclear facilities and ensuring the protection of staff, infrastructure, and sensitive information. The successful candidate will be expected to perform a variety of security tasks including surveillance, monitoring, and inspection to prevent and respond to potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce strict access to and from restricted areas within the nuclear facility while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility both physically and using surveillance systems to identify and respond to security breaches or anomalies.
• Implement and manage security measures related to emergency response protocols for incidents, including evacuation procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs of security-related activities and incidents to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders in matters relating to security breaches or other emergencies.
• Participate in continuous training on radiation safety, emergency response, and other relevant security practices.
• Assure all safety and security equipment functions properly and report any malfunctions.
