Access Control Screening Officer

Securitas is seeking an Access Control Screening Officer to safeguard people, property, and assets at client facilities. In this role, you will manage entry points, verify IDs and credentials, monitor security systems, conduct bag and package screenings, and enforce site access policies. You will respond to alarms, document incidents, and provide courteous assistance to employees and visitors. Supported by Securitas training and a mission-driven culture, you'll build security expertise and have opportunities for advancement into supervisory and specialist roles.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access to client facilities, ensuring only authorized individuals enter secured areas
• Verify identification, credentials, and visitor documentation in accordance with site procedures
• Conduct visual and physical screening of bags, packages, and personal items as required
• Monitor CCTV and security systems, responding to alarms and suspicious activity
• Enforce site security policies, post orders, and safety regulations consistently
• Document and report incidents, irregularities, and security breaches accurately and promptly
• Assist with emergency response, evacuations, and drills following established protocols
• Provide professional, customer-focused assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, client representatives, and public safety agencies as needed
