Location: Wright-Patterson AFB
Duties The primary purpose of this position is to: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) officer, to serve as a Flight Commander in an AFRC Intelligence Squadron. The employee has responsibility for all intelligence operational training and operational matters for the unit. The employee also has responsibility for orchestrating related Air Force Reserve integration into global Air Force ISR operations and training via associated programs.
Additionally, provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of the tasks set forth herein. DUTY 1:
Provides expertise on Intelligence operations, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT/MASINT, Acquisition Intelligence, Targeting, All-Source / Fusion Analysis, and intelligence products for execution of intelligence taskings, collection, processing, analysis and dissemination. Serves as an AFRC Intelligence Flight expert for highly technical, diverse multi intelligence operations and training functions, to include HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT/MASINT, Acquisition Intelligence, Targeting, All-Source Fusion Analysis, and DCGS. DUTY 2:
Organizes, plans, and oversees the activities of the unit's operations and training programs. Exercises responsibility and authority for planning and managing command/control oversight and tasking of tasking of Air Force Reserve forces conducting / supporting multi-disciplined intelligence operations (to include HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT/MASINT, Acquisition Intelligence, All-Source/Fusion Analysis, DCGS, and Targeting) supporting the U.S. Air Force, DoD, and National level Agencies in the areas of foreign intelligence, foreign counterintelligence, counter terrorism, anti-terrorism, combat operations, and peacekeeping/peace building operations worldwide.
DUTY 3:
Serves as an AFRC intelligence expert, interfacing with AFRC and AF Operations Centers, to maintain command/control/oversight and tasking of Air Force Reserve Forces within the Intelligence Squadron as well as Regular Air Force (RegAF) units, missions, and operations. DUTY 4:
Manages the Flight operations and training, apportioning and scheduling programs for assigned members. Analyzes Air Force Reserve capability against standing and dynamic intelligence operational requirements to execute operations and training to satisfy those requirements. DUTY 5:
Manages training and readiness for the Flight. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities less than 25% of the time (for positions with less than 5 full-time subordinates). Directs, coordinates, and oversees the work of subordinate employees. Requirements Conditions of employment
