We're currently seeking motivated individuals to join our 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center as an Alarm Monitoring Representative. This full-time position is available on mid-shift, second shift, and third shift schedules which includes weekends and holidays.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you'll be at the center of critical life-safety operations, serving as the first point of contact when alarm events occur. Like a 911 emergency dispatcher, you'll play a vital role in helping protect people, property, and businesses by responding quickly and accurately to incoming alarm signals. You will also be open to:

- Complete a paid training class and must pass a final exam certifying your skill as an Alarm Monitoring Operator
- Monitor and respond to alarm events with speed and accuracy through phone and computer systems
- Coordinate with emergency responders, including police and fire departments
- Notify customers and provide timely updates during alarm events
- Handle inbound and outbound phone calls using a multi-line telephone system
- Accurately document events through data entry and handle customer information with confidentiality
- Follow established procedures to support life-safety and emergency response operations
- High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred
- 1-3 years’ work experience
- Candidates must complete a pre-hire typing assessment of 30+ words a minute
- Must be able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Effectively monitor, interpret, and respond to information displayed across multiple computer monitors
- Perform job duties in an office environment under standard LED and fluorescent lighting
- Ability to wear a headset for extended periods and effectively hear and communicate with customers over the phone
