Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The individual hired into this position would be responsible for performing mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment including troubleshooting and repairs of heavy equipment, rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Ability to work safely at all times
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant mobile equipment including CAT, Komatsu & Volvo quarry/construction equipment/ diesel engines
- Mechanically inclined on a wide variety of hand tools and power tools
- Weld, cut and perform minor fabrication on plantor mobile equipment
- Other duties as assigned

- Vocational training or equivalent experience
- 5 + years related experience
This is a full-time position that regularly requires 40+ hours per week in a surface mine setting. This role frequently operates heavy equipment.
