Lead Master Craftsman: Multi‑Trade Renovations Leader

Location and schedule:
Columbus, OH (On-site). Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

Compensation: $28.00–$32.00 per hour ($58,000–$66,500/yr + performance bonuses).

Master Craftsman responsible for leading complex, cross‑trade renovation projects, mentoring fellow craftsmen, and delivering exceptional client service.

• Lead and oversee large remodels and advanced repair projects across multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, tile, electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, exterior repairs).
• Assess projects, develop plans, estimates, and provide clear expectations.
• Manage job sites, maintain schedules, safety, and operational excellence.
• Serve as the primary client contact, communicating clearly and professionally.
• Coach and support other craftsmen, fostering a high‑performing team culture.
• Maintain tools and resources, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective project execution.
• Document progress, materials, and time, ensuring transparency.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 10+ years broad hands‑on experience across multiple trades.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and training abilities.
• Must own all required tools.
• Estimating experience is a bonus.
• Strong math skills for estimating and project planning.
• Proficient with tablet/phone for estimating, timekeeping, dispatching, and purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of electronic communication and documentation practices.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 32 feet.
