Location: Etna
Fed Ex - - Responsibilities:
Provide preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems through competency in two or more specialty skills (mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/controls) with basic welding/fabrication skills.;
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical problems within the material handling system, escalating to higher level technicians or management for complex issues.;
Adhere to safety standards and participate in safety trainings, promoting a safe work environment.;
Respond to sort calls to diagnose problems and perform repairs, with potential involvement in smaller scope projects and flexible scheduling.;
Utilize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve prescribed data; read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings/manuals.
