Garage Door Installer

Location: Ashville

A Holmes Lumber (a division of Carter Lumber) Garage Door Installer will assist in installing new overhead doors & operators, removing overhead doors & operators for replacement, and assist in installing rolling doors and dock equipment. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

Requirements:

* Previous garage door installation experience required

* Strong knowledge of building materials and tools

* Possesses the ability to work under time constraints

* Possess strong math skills

* Ability to follow directions both written and verbal

* Ability to problem solve

Responsibilities:

* Installation

* Replaces or installs garage doors using the appropriate tools.

* Analyzes jobsite, assists in running wires, assembling openers, cutting angles, and installing seals.

* Supports a safe work environment.

* Customer Service

* Ensures that customers are treated with the utmost respect and given the highest quality of workmanship.

* Knowledge & Training

* Responsible for acquiring the training needed to install garage doors safely and efficiently.

* Responsible for becoming certified in the product/area that is being installed to ensure that we are providing the best service to our customers.
