Field Service Technician
Job PurposeThe primary responsibility of this position is to provide maintenance service on lift trucks and various material handling equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Responsible for changing oil and performing routine preventative maintenance on all Industrial Equipment.
- Assess and repair damage and mechanical related issues on lift trucks.
- Provide lift truck maintenance services onsite at customer locations.
- Communicate professionally while onsite with the customer.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills and Abilities
Preferred
- 1+ years’ experience as a service technician, mechanic or similar position is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical education in automotive, heavy equipment mechanic, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks with great attention to detail.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel to work on Industrial Equipment.
- This position spends most of the day in a warehouse setting.
- Some travel to customer locations is required, so outside work may be mandatory.
- The expected starting hourly range for this role is $23 - $35 per hour. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
