Installer
Company: Sunspace Deck and Shade Solutions
Location: Port Clinton, Ohio, United States
Job OverviewMost people who buy a sunroom or a porch enclosure have no idea how it gets built. As an Installer, you will build these enclosures, sunrooms, and screen systems across northwest Ohio. Your work will be the foundation of our high‑quality products.
We are not a general contractor. We specialize in one product line and focus on excellence. John has grown the business and now seeks a primary Installer who can learn the system, perform at a high level, and eventually become the second Lead Installer running your own crew.
Installer: $25–$35 hourly. Work alongside the Lead Installer, learn the Sunspace system, and build to the point where you can run a job independently.
The crew works outdoors year‑round in northwest Ohio. That means July heat with no shade and November cold on installs. Your schedule will continue even in 35°F weather. You will carry aluminum framing and glass panels, work off ladders, and perform precise cuts. Every cut must meet tolerances; callbacks are handled seriously.
The job takes place in customers' backyards, often with the homeowner present. You are responsible for maintaining a clean site, communicating professionally, and ensuring the owner feels respected. If strong customer‑service skills are essential for you, this role is a good fit.
