• Maintain Class 8 trucks and trailers, performing preventative maintenance tasks such as removing, cleaning, repairing, reinstalling, and adjusting components.
• Diagnose mechanical problems, complete repairs, and, if needed, rebuild equipment for brakes, transmissions, rear‑ends, clutches, electrical components, diesel engines, and more.
• Evaluate completed work and conduct final inspection to ensure compliance with federal and state code regulations and company safety standards.
• Make off‑site service calls as needed.
• Work Monday‑Friday, start between 5:00am and 6:00am, finish between 4:00pm and 5:30pm, and may open and close the maintenance garage depending on schedule.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).
• ClassA CDL license.
• Experience working on heavy‑duty trucks and tractor‑trailers, with ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and diesel engine problems.
• Ability to use battery and charging system test equipment.
• Basic welding skills (MIG, Oxy‑Acetylene) for welding/fabricating bodywork and parts.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
