• Assist the field crew with field condition assessments and inspections of boilers, vessels, piping, steam turbines and related critical components in power, utility, chemical, food processing and paper mill industries.
• Perform general laboring duties such as equipment set‑up, break‑down, and gathering tools.
• Operate various hand and power tools to support inspections.
• Support the team by performing additional duties as assigned.
• Frequently travel overnight out of town and operate in a variety of power and utility plants.
• Navigate uneven terrain and work in diverse conditions including heat, cold, heights, dust, dirt, indoor, outdoor, and confined areas.

• Frequent lifting of up to and over 50 lbs. in vertical and horizontal motion.
• Crawling, stooping, standing, reaching, bending, and stooping to perform necessary work.
• Ascend and descend extension ladders, step ladders, and stairs using hands and arms.
• Drive a company vehicle and walk around job sites.
• Computer input, typing, and answering the phone.
• Clear vision over 20 feet and under 20 inches.
• Judge depth, distance, space, and color discrimination.
• Use oils or chemicals as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Regular and predictable attendance with the ability to safely perform tasks and adhere to company safety policies.
• Organized, self‑starter who works under pressure and conducts themselves professionally.
• Effective interaction with employees at all levels.
• Practice discretion, good judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
• Field work experience in power plants or similar industrial facilities is a plus.
• Non‑Destructive Testing experience is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience in welding, machining, construction, or a similar trade is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record is a plus.
• Certifications such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, ASNT, API, AWS‑CWI are a plus.
