About the Role

General Facilities Maintenance Technician at a local Walmart retail store. Execute routine maintenance tasks to maintain safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart stores, equipment, and fixtures.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material‑handling equipment, food equipment) and hand/power tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document reactive repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move up/down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and work in varying temperatures.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Vocational or Technical certification and at least 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material‑handling equipment, or related trade.

• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical trade program.
• License in related trade in the city and/or state where the job is located.
• Intermediate proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
