Flooring Mechanic Trainee.

899 National Road Bridgeport, Ohio 43719. Job Type: Full‑Time.

Are you ready to start a hands‑on career in flooring installation? We are looking for a dedicated Helper / Trainee to join our team and support our experienced flooring mechanics and carpet installers.

• Basic Tool Knowledge – familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Problem‑Solving Skills – ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot minor issues on the job.
• Dependability – punctual, reliable, and committed to high‑quality work.
• Safety Awareness – understanding and commitment to safety practices.

• Assist lead installers in preparing work sites, organizing materials, and cleaning up job sites.
• Learn and support installation of various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, tile, and laminate.
• Help with equipment maintenance and setup.
• Lift, carry, and transport materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical stamina to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail – ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Team‑oriented – strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn – experience in flooring, carpeting, or construction is helpful but not required; we will train the right candidate.

• Flooring installation experience.
• Construction trade experience.
• Basic hand tool knowledge.
