Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician, General Labor
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with process equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance work orders.
- Disassemble, install new equipment, sensors, machines, etc.
- Perform tasks such as parts replacements, cleaning, etc.
- Inspect equipment and systems for stability and quality.
High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of previous maintenance experience. Experience in explosive manufacture preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities- Possess an understanding of electrical systems and ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
- Possess an understanding of mechanical systems and ability to read and understand detail and process & instrumentation drawings.
- Possess an understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform other labor-intensive tasks.
This position requires no travel. Time will be spent in all areas of the plant, both indoors and outdoors, in all-weather elements.
