Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator – Minster, Ohio

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio.

• Base pay: $23.00 per hour
• .50 increase after 6 months and 1 year
• Overtime Pay: $34.50 per hour

• Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 paid in four installments at 30, 60, 90, and 180 days

• Day shift options:
  Wed‑Sat 4:30 am – 4:00 pm or Wed‑Sat 5:30 am – 5:00 pm
• 44‑55 hours per week
• 11‑hour shift
• 2‑month schedule provided in advance for family planning

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check and a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Handle daily paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
