Crew Leader, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Yellowstone Landscape seeks a Construction Crew Leader to oversee commercial landscaping installation projects. Lead a small field crew building hardscapes, grading, planting, and installing irrigation according to plans and safety standards. Coordinate daily tasks, allocate labor and equipment, and ensure quality, timelines, and client specifications are met. Train crew members on tools, safety, and best practices while maintaining a clean, organized job site.

Communicate with supervisors on progress, materials, and issues, and complete basic documentation. This is a hands-on role working outdoors year-round with growth into foreman and management opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a field crew on commercial landscape construction projects
• Coordinate daily work plans, assign tasks, and manage labor and equipment usage
• Install plants, trees, turf, hardscapes, and irrigation per plans and specifications
• Ensure all work follows safety policies, quality standards, and project timelines
• Train and mentor crew members on tools, techniques, and job-site safety
• Inspect completed work, make corrections, and maintain a clean, organized site
• Communicate project status, issues, and material needs to supervisors
• Read and interpret basic site plans and layout instructions
• Operate landscape construction equipment and power tools safely
• Complete basic project and time-tracking documentation
