Hydroblast Field Technician

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Hydroblast Field Technician to perform high-pressure water blasting and industrial cleaning at client sites in the Utilities & Energy sector. In this field-based role, you'll set up and operate hydroblasting equipment, follow strict safety and environmental procedures, and support shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance projects. You'll work in confined spaces and elevated areas as part of a tight-knit crew, receive comprehensive safety training, and gain hands-on experience with major energy and industrial clients while building a path to advanced technician or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure hydroblasting and industrial cleaning equipment at client facilities
• Set up, inspect, and break down hoses, pumps, and associated tools safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use, confined space, and Lockout/Tagout requirements
• Assist with site preparation, containment, and proper handling of wash water and waste materials
• Complete basic field documentation, job tickets, and safety checklists accurately
• Work closely with crew leaders and supervisors to execute work plans and meet client expectations
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any defects or maintenance needs promptly
• Travel to various client sites and work extended or irregular hours as required by projects
